My name is Mycah, and I'm going on my third year working here. I started out really young, when I was 19 or 20. The big reason I did it was because of my mom — my mom cuts hair. She's my biggest inspiration in everything I do in life.

In barbering, I like shear work and stuff like that. But I really just like being here at the barbershop — I think that's the best thing in general, man. That's what being a barber is all about: just being here with people. People are great. I think that's the whole reason you become a barber — to be there for the people, right?

I wouldn't trade it for any corporate job — anything. Even if it was a million dollars a week, I wouldn't trade it. I love my people, my people love me, and I've built some really strong relationships. It's really awesome.
