Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the District Barbershop website at districtbarbershop.com, our online booking and waitlist services, or the District Barbershop iOS mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Our Services
District Barber Shop LLC ("District Barbershop") provides barbershop services at our Fort Worth, Texas locations. Through our website and App, you can book appointments, join waitlists for preferred barbers and dates, manage your bookings, and participate in our loyalty program.
Mobile Application
The App provides access to our booking, waitlist, and loyalty features on iOS devices. The booking, cancellation, waitlist, and text messaging terms below apply equally whether you use our website or the App. To use the App you must create an account by signing in with your phone number or with Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
Online Booking
When you book an appointment through our website or the App, your booking is processed through Square, our appointment and payment provider. You are responsible for providing accurate contact information so we can reach you regarding your appointment.
Appointment availability displayed on our website and in the App is updated in real time but is not guaranteed until your booking is confirmed.
Waitlist
Our waitlist service allows you to be notified when an appointment becomes available with your preferred barber on your preferred dates. By joining the waitlist, you agree to receive text message notifications about available appointments.
When a spot opens up, you will receive a text with a link to claim the appointment. You will have 10 minutes to claim the spot before it is offered to the next person on the waitlist. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee an appointment.
Waitlist entries are automatically removed after the requested dates have passed.
Cancellation Policy
We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 3 hours before the beginning of your appointment or you may be charged a cancellation fee. When a card is on file, the cancellation fee may be charged to the card provided.
Card on File and Apple Pay
During booking, you may be asked to provide a credit or debit card to hold on file. Your card is not charged at the time of booking. It is held securely through Square solely for no-show and late cancellation protection. Card information is managed entirely by Square and is never stored on our servers.
The App supports Apple Pay on devices that have it set up. Apple Pay payments are processed through Square; the same handling applies and we do not see or store your card details.
Loyalty Program
Our loyalty program rewards you for visits to District Barbershop. You earn one star per completed haircut, and after your tenth star you receive a free haircut. Loyalty stars have no cash value, are not transferable, and may not be exchanged for cash or any other reward not specifically offered.
The App lets you add your loyalty card to Apple Wallet. The pass is provided as a convenience and is governed by these Terms of Service.
We may modify, suspend, or terminate the loyalty program (including the rate at which stars are earned and the rewards offered) at any time and without prior notice.
If your account is deleted, your loyalty balance is forfeited and cannot be restored.
Text Messaging
By using our booking or waitlist services, providing your phone number, or signing in to the App with your phone number, you consent to receive text messages from District Barbershop related to your appointments, waitlist status, and one-time sign-in codes. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. Opting out of texts will not affect your existing bookings but will prevent you from receiving waitlist notifications.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse our services, including but not limited to: booking appointments you do not intend to keep, submitting false information, attempting to manipulate the waitlist or loyalty system, creating multiple accounts to obtain additional rewards, reverse-engineering the App, or interfering with the operation of our website or App.
Limitation of Liability
District Barbershop provides its online booking, waitlist, App, and loyalty services on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to our website or App, or that all features will function without error. We are not liable for missed appointments, waitlist notification failures, push notification delivery failures, or any indirect damages arising from the use of our services.
Apple App Store Terms
The following applies to your use of the App if you obtained it from the Apple App Store: You acknowledge that these Terms of Service are between you and District Barber Shop LLC only, and not with Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, or consumer-protection or similar claims. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms of Service, and upon your acceptance of these terms Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Tarrant County, Texas.
